Monique Blough & Victor Jr. (nicknamed) Rocky and my two youngest born in Port Charlotte, Fl., Jeanette Baker & Joseph. And I'm blessed with a total of 7 grandchildren. In the 1980's, My husband and I and our children, have given our lives and are dedicated to Serving, Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
I have been fascinated with drawing since I was a child. While in high school, I took art classes, and I loved working with ink, colored pencil, pencil and water color's, ext.. I also took in those 4 years, a class in photography, printing and pottery. When I graduated I was not able financially to pursue collage in the arts. One day when I was bored I drew a picture that was on a match book, I believe everyone has seen or even done so. I then sent it in, and guess what, I started an art coarse with Washington School of Art, For two years.
About 5 years ago, my friend, Sally Kalama, an artist herself, Challenged me to use my creative abilities to paint in oils again, I have painted only a few picture's in oil, about, 40 years ago. Never tempted to do oil painting since then. As Sally kept encouraging me that I could do it again I went with her to art classes, taught by Elsie Sheagley, who helped me to paint in a different light that I have never done before.
I hope that my Paintings, expresses my passion, leaving an impression to all who see my work. Thank You!
